Google released the Nexus One as a developer phone – the unlocked version. You can access all the capabilities and features of the Android Froyo(2.2) and test your applications by using any version of Android. To be able to purchase the phone you have to create a developer account (it costs $25). The price is $529, which sounds fair, in my opinion. Read more on the android developer blog.
